IEM Katowice 2024 European qualifier results

The European qualifier for the IEM Katowice 2024 StarCraft II competition ended yesterday. Based on the contest results, NAVI player Piotr «Spirit» Walukiewicz qualified for one of next year's largest tournaments with a $500,000 prize fund.

In the upper qualifying bracket, Spirit won a fairly easy victory over Jieshi (2:0) but was unable to overcome HeRoMaRinE in the match for the slot (0:3).

Having fallen to the lower bracket, Spirit outplayed the German Zerg Lambo (2:0) and the Korean Protoss Classic (3:2). In the decisive best-of-5 match, he lost the first two maps but managed to make a fantastic comeback.

The next competition for NAVI's StarCraft II player will be the ESL SC2 Masters 2023 Winter LAN tournament. It will take place from December 15th to 17th in Atlanta.
