IEM Rio Major: vs FURIA

In the first match of the Champions Stage IEM Rio Major, Born to Win will face Furia. The match starts at 21:30 CET, the format is best of 3.

NAVI had a rough ride to the Legends Stage: after a good start against Team Vitality, our boys faced top-5 HLTV teams and made it to the Champions Stage with a 3-2 score due to the final win over BIG (2 : 0).

Thanks to the crowd support in Rio, Furia made it through the stage with ease. The team showed a solid performance against Spirit (16 : 13 Mirage) and Ence (16 : 6 Vertigo) in bo1 matches, then left BIG with no chance in the final match (2 : 0).

NAVI has highly positive statistics in the matches against Furia: our guys have taken 10 cards in the entire history of the confrontation, while the Brazilian opponent has taken only 3. The last meeting between the teams took place at the beginning of this year at IEM Katowice 2022 and ended with the victory of our team (16 : 2 Mirage, 16 : 12 Nuke).
